Requirements
- Minimum age: 12+
- Min. certification: Open Water Certification required
- Min logged dives: 4 logged dives required
- PADI Junior Open Water Diver (or equivalent). Please note that completing a theory portion is mandatory for this course (via eLearning or paper materials). If you haven't purchased the required materials or if they are not listed in the inclusions above, please ensure you add them at checkout.
What to expect
Learn about drift diving by completing the PADI eLearning® course Drift Diver Online or by reading the PADI Drift Diver manual. You'll answer some questions about what you've read, and your instructor will share their tips for diving in a current. During two drift dives, you’ll practice buoyancy control, navigation and buddy communication. By the end of the course, you'll have the skills you need to confidently go with the flow.
